If college isn’t the right choice for you or your student right now, it’s important to have access to voices from other parents whose children are considering other paths for any number of reasons. In a culture and system that places disproportionate value on a college education, many students and families are finding success and happiness with other choices. As parents and families, we need access to each other’s experience in order to stay connected and supported as we make decisions that might stir up inner conflict.
